Early Life
Nivetha was born on 30 November 1991 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. She has Tamil ancestry from her mother and Telugu roots from her father. Her native language is Tamil. Shortly after her birth, her family relocated to Kovilpatti, where she completed her early schooling. At the age of 11, she moved to Dubai with her parents and studied at Crescent English High School. Nivetha lived in Dubai for about ten years and later earned a management degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
In 2015, she was crowned Miss India UAE and went on to become a finalist in the Miss India Worldwide competition, securing a spot among the top five contestants.
Career
Debut and Early Work (2016–2020)
Nivetha made her acting debut in the Tamil film Oru Naal Koothu (2016), where she played an IT professional opposite Dinesh. Her performance was well-received, with Hindustan Times calling it "engaging," and The Times of India noting that she was "impressive" in her debut.
In 2017, she featured in two films. The first was the Tamil film Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam, opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin, although critics felt her character lacked depth.
